Product Introduction

This product is a solution of polymethacrylate in highly refined mineral oil. It is a viscosity index improver with high shear stability specially designed for low freezing point aviation hydraulic fluids.

Product Performance

With a narrow molecular weight distribution, it has good low temperature fluidity, excellent shear stability, and can effectively improve the viscosity index. It has excellent filtration performance and emulsification resistance.

Product Usage

It is suitable for the modulation of hydraulic oil, especially low freezing point aviation hydraulic oil, and can effectively improves the viscosity index of the oil,and can be used in the production of shock absorber oil and grinding oil. Under the premise of ensuring shear stability, it can effectively save the product formula cost.

Physical and chemical index evaluation

10% (mass fraction) SCR-9600 is added into Dalian HVI150 base oil, heated to 60℃~70℃, and stirred evenly to obtain the sample. The shear stability index (ultrasonic method), thickening ability, of the sample are determined.

The main physical and chemical indexes of SCR-9600 viscosity index improver are shown in Table 1.

Recommended Dosage

Recommended dosage: The recommended dosage for SCR-9600 is 1 to 20%, depending on the actual application. For details, please consult our additive application engineers.

Packing and precautions

Please refer to SH/T0164 for transportation, storage and handling. Net weight: 170 Kg/drum, packed in 200 liter metal drum. Non-flammable, non-explosive, non-corrosive.Best Blending temperature: 50-60℃. Storage temperature below 60℃, avoid repeated heating, keep away from heat.
