Product Introduction

SCR-248 is an efficient pour point depressant of polyalkyl methacrylate(PAMA) in severely refined mineral oil. SCR-248 has good pour point reduction effect on paraffin base oil and intermediate base oil, especially hydrotreating base oil. It has good low temperature performance, and also has the effect of improving viscosity index. It has the same performance as foreign similar advanced products. 

Product Performance

Excellent depression performance, little dose for good effect. Clear and good Transparency. Excellent shear stability, high temperature stability and antioxidant stability. Suitable for engine oil, hydraulic transmission oil, gear oil, transformer oil, particular hydraulic pressure oil and industrial oil, etc.

Physical properties：

Add 0.5% to HVI150 base oil (freezing point -14±1℃), and the freezing point reduction value is the degree of pour point.

Recommended dosage: The recommended dosage for SCR-248 is 0.1 to 0.5%, depending on the actual application.  For details, please consult our additive application engineers.

Packing and precautions

Please refer to SH/T0164 for transportation, storage and handling. Net weight: 170 Kg/drum, packed in 200 liter metal drum. Non-flammable, non-explosive, non-corrosive.Best Blending temperature: 50-60℃.

Storage temperature below 60℃, avoid repeated heating, keep away from heat.
